Welcome to our website!
The Song Spot is Durham Region's fastest growing music school located in Brooklin, Ontario. Due to our high quality lessons and well educated teachers, we have won dozens of awards and accumulated an ever-growing group of talented students.
We offer private lessons (ALL AGES) for a variety of instruments including piano, guitar, drums, ukulele, voice and drama. We also offer many group programs including Glee Club, Summer Camps, Youth Theatre Group and more!

Founder’s Notes
After graduating from York University with a degree in Voice Performance, Andrea began teaching students at music studios throughout Toronto. After obtaining her Master's in information science with a focus on early literacy and learning, she moved to Brooklin, Ontario. She was surprised to find there was no local Music School. She opened The Song Spot hoping to create not just a music school, but a community of culture. A music school that encourages, inspires and makes music a lifestyle, rather then a 1/2 hour weekly lesson.
