Students can start first few lessons without Live as there is a free trial, as long as they have a laptop in good working order with above specifications or greater, as a general requirement, If a student can get regular access to a production capable and authorized (can install programs) computer, it is still possible to take the course/ lessons, but acquiring an independent laptop/ computer is highly recommended.
