A) SONG - One memorized musical theatre song of your choice that shows off your vocal range and ability. It must be a musical theatre (NOT DISNEY, NOT KPOP DEMON HUNTERS, NOT DESCENDANTS) song. Can be between 2-4 minutes. Please choose a YouTube track so that we can play it from our laptop during the audition. If you have a mp3 track you want to use, you must email it to us before the audition. There is an attached song selection guide if you need help or guidance on how to pick a song/how to approach a musical theatre song for an audition.

-
B) MONOLOGUE - One memorized monologue. There are 6 options in the attached document - you MUST choose one of our options to memorize and perform. Choose one in a contrasting emotion from the song (if your song is comedic, perform a dramatic/emotional monologue and vice versa).

-
C) DANCE CALL - This is a group dance call so that our panel can take note of your dance ability. You will learn a short excerpt of a dance and then perform it in groups for the panel. There is nothing to prepare for the dance call - you only have to show up with comfortable clothes and shoes!

* Additionally, you might be asked to participate in some light vocal warmups with our musical director. You may also be asked or cold read (read some things on the spot from The Addams Family) to test dramatic range & ability.
